Help for Gravity Network (CGSN)
The Canadian Gravity Standardization Network (CGSN) is defined by
more than 5,000 control stations systematically distributed throughout
Canada. The adjustment of the CGSN is based on the International
Gravity Standardization Net (IGSN71), therefore the datum definition is
considered accurate to several tens of microgals.
Information about selected stations can be downloaded in several
formats from the Download section. To select stations, use the
checkboxes in the map
or the stations list.
Search results are shown on the map and are added to the stations list.
You can search for a station by name in the Find a station tab.
You can also define a seach area in one of four ways:
- Changing the visible map area
- NTS Map Sheet
- Radial search
- Geographic Bounds

The Canadian gravity anomalies are also available through the Open Government Portal
where it is possible to download the data by area and NTS sheet. |
