Location
Located in Canadian Hydrographic Service water level gauge building on shoreline of Lake Superior, east of Superior Aggregates Co. wharf.
The GNSS reference mark consists of an aluminum plate with a forced centered stainless steel bolt embedded on top of a 3.35 m high, 0.15 m diameter aluminum pillar, anchored to a 3.0 m x 3.8 m, 0.7 m deep concrete foundation. The foundation also supports a water level gauge.
